Professor Sir John Curtice also said that the Conservatives will win anywhere between 50-150 seats in the upcoming general elections. There are certain mistakes which can be attributed to Sunak and the Labour party is expected to completely sweep the upcoming elections to the House of Commons.

The PM has not focused much on the economy which according to Professor John remains a main issue. The UK had entered into recession and has only recently recovered with a slight growth of 0.6% between January 2024 and March 2024. Another key issue which has impacted the Conservatives is the status of the National Health Service (NHS). Many of their services are inadequate and outdated. Further, the lack of skilled personnel has led to a massive delay in securing appointments for the patients.
