Israel reveals how top Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Aqil was taken down while 'hiding among civilians'

The IDF reported that Aqil and the other commanders were planning a major attack called the "Conquer the Galilee" plan, aiming to infiltrate Israeli communities and target civilians. «I can now confirm that Ibrahim Aqil was eliminated together with other senior terrorists in Hezbollah's Radwan forces. Ibrahim Aqil had the blood of many innocent people on his hands. Israelis, Americans, French, Lebanese and more,» stated IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.
Hezbollah has been designated a terrorist organization by many countries and is considered a significant threat to Israel, Lebanon, the Middle East, and the wider world. Since October 8, Hezbollah has launched over 8,000 rockets, missiles, and explosive UAVs at Israeli civilians, leading to the evacuation of over 60,000 Israelis from their homes. The IDF's mission aims to counter this threat and protect Israeli citizens.
Hagari accused the Radwan forces of planning a large-scale attack similar to an earlier incursion by Hamas in southern Israel. He also detailed Aqil's involvement in past terrorist activities, including bombings and kidnappings in the 1980s.
