Objectives of YUVIKA Programme
The objective of this program is to introduce students to the fundamentals of space science, technology, and applications, with a focus on emerging trends in the field. ISRO's initiative is part of its strategy to engage young minds early in the field of space science, recognizing them as the future pillars of the nation.
The YUVIKA programme is designed to inspire more students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by providing them with a foundational understanding of space-related concepts. Success of Previous YUVIKA Programmes
Since its inception, the YUVIKA programme has seen significant success, with participation from students across all states and union territories. The program, which includes classroom lectures, practical experiments, robotics challenges, and interactions with ISRO scientists, has been conducted in 2019, 2022, and 2023.
