Nithin Kamath had decoded the secret to a happy married life. In a recent post on Twitter, the Zerodha founder and CEO revealed that he joins his wife Seema — who is a cancer survivor — for a morning workout session every day. The 43-year-old also said that the daily exercise routine has helped strengthen the couple's bond.
«I try to get a workout first thing in the morning with Seema; it also acts like our bonding exercise. A workout first thing also means I make better choices with food throughout the day,» he wrote in his lengthy caption. In addition to this, Kamath makes sure he and his wife go for regular health check-ups.
«Nothing in life can guarantee perfect health. Regular checkups help you spot issues early and act on them. This is the best we can do,» he posted in his tweet.
While he is at the top of his physical fitness game, Kamath said that mental health should also be prioritised. If he is bothered by a topic, he said he always makes it a point to address it. «As for the mind, I try to talk about whatever is bothering me.
Postponing this almost always makes it worse,» he said. Kamath also said that having hobbies always help in the long run. In his case, his passion for music and sports has benefitted him.
«Having hobbies like music and sports means I also get to spend time with myself, which helps a lot,» his post read.
