It Starts With Us, are already underway. Director and star Justin Baldoni has recently addressed the potential direction of the sequel, suggesting that while he is open to the idea, he believes Blake Lively would be an ideal choice to take on the directorial role, as per a Coming Soon report.
In a recent interview, Baldoni, who directed the original It Ends With Us from a screenplay by Christy Hall, expressed his thoughts on who should helm the upcoming sequel.
Although he is open to directing, Baldoni indicated that he would prefer someone else to take on the job. Specifically, he recommended co-star Blake Lively, stating, “I think there are better people for that one. I think Blake Lively’s ready to direct. That’s what I think” (via Entertainment Tonight).
The sequel, based on Colleen Hoover’s 2022 novel It Starts With Us, is expected to continue the complex narratives of the characters introduced in the first film.

The original film, directed by Baldoni and featuring a cast that includes Lively as Lily Bloom, Baldoni himself as Ryle, and Brandon Sklenar as Atlas, has been well-received.
The story centers on Lily Bloom, who, after overcoming a troubled childhood, relocates to Boston with dreams of opening her own business. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she meets neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid, leading to a
