Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' has hit the silver screen with a bang, setting new records and solidifying its status as a blockbuster in the making.

The film, directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan, continued its winning streak on the second day, by breaking the box office record of ‘Pathaan’ to become the fastest film to cross the Rs 100 cr milestone.

Early estimates suggest that the day 2 domestic collection of 'Jawan' is around Rs 53 crore, bringing the total to around Rs 127.5 crore after just two days, as per sacnik.com.

Its first-day box office collection was a staggering Rs 75 crore, setting a new record for Hindi cinema's biggest opening day.

While 'Pathaan' too had crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in the same amount of time but its Day 2 box office collection was Rs 123 crores.
