BJP) Jharkhand assembly election co-incharge and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday shared the expected seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly Elections.
Speaking at a press conference, Sarma stated that discussions with allies are ongoing.
«As of now, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) will contest 10 seats, Janata Dal (United) will get 2 seats, and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) will contest 1 seat,» he said. The BJP will field candidates for the remaining constituencies, Sarma added.
JD(U) will be contesting from Jamshedpur West and Tamar. Meanwhile, LJP (Ram Vilas) will fight from Chatra, as per the minister.
AJSU Party will contest from Silli, Ramgarh, Gomia, Ichagarh, Mandu, Jugsalai, Dumri, Pakur, Lohardaga and Manoharpur.
