The former President appeared to be frail when he was spotted attending the funeral of his wife Roselynn in November 2023. However, this is not the first time Jason has speculated on the health of his grandfather. He issued a similar statement in November after the death of Roselynn.

While addressing a gathering at the Rosalynn Carter Georgia Mental Health Forum, Jason also thanked the supporters of the former president who have been worried about his health and were praying for his well-being.
