Despite the widespread curiosity, the exact contents of Joe Biden’s letter remain undisclosed. When asked about it, Biden commented briefly in Spanish, saying, “Eso queda entre él y yo,” which translates to, “That stays between him and me.” This statement aligns with the tradition of confidentiality that these letters typically hold, as they often contain personal reflections, advice, or well-wishes for the incoming leader. Biden’s gesture mirrors his predecessor’s, as Trump also left a letter for Biden in 2021, which Biden described as “very generous.”
