Jyotiraditya Scindia recently shared a video where he was seen interacting with the staff of an eatery near Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Amid loud chants of «long live Jyotiraditya Scindia», the minister was seen interacting with the cooks at the restaurant and taking the blessings of an elderly woman.
«Along with having delicious food, it's important to meet the cooks. During my visit to Gwalior, I met the young staff at a restaurant and discussed food and local issues,» the Union Minister tweeted in Hindi.
The minister was heard telling one of the cooks that «next time when I come to Gwalior, I will eat your dosa.» After Jyotiraditya Scindia posted the video on Twitter, an user was quick to point out he seemed to be taking a leaf out of Rahul Gandhi's playbook. The minister tweeted a two-word reply: «Actually, unlearning».
In 2020, Scindia and 22 former Congress MLAs left the party to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, a move that brought down the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Yatra was seen interacting with various sections of society.
Most recently, the Congress leader visited motorcycle mechanics' workshops in Delhi's Karol Bagh area and interacted with them. Later Rahul Gandhi posted pictures of his interaction with the mechanics on Facebook and wrote: «Learning from the hands that turn the wrenches, and keep the wheels of Bharat moving.»
