Miss World Karolina Bielawska, who was in Kashmir on Monday said that the Valley is immensely beautiful and the entire world should see it.
Bielawska, from Poland had won the title of Miss World 2021, was on a visit to Kashmir ahead of the 71st edition of the Miss World 2023 pageant, which India is hosting later this year. India is hosting the pageant after almost three decades. She is a Polish model, TV presenter, social activist, UN Messenger of Peace Goodwill Ambassador, philanthropist and publicist. She was in Srinagar along with other colleagues who were seen dressed in traditional Kashmiri attire. They took a shikara ride in Dal Lake and had lunch at a local five-star hotel.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to see this beautiful place… I was stunned by its beauty. We have been talking about Kashmir…but what we have seen today has blown our minds,” she said adding, “I cannot wait to welcome 140 nations and all my friends and families here in India and show places like Kashmir.I want the world to see this place,” She said that India is very diverse country but ‘wonderful hospitality’ is a common feature in every state.
The chairman of Miss World Organization, Julia Eric Morley said that everybody was welcoming in Kashmir and she was happy to work here. “This place is incredible and we can share with the rest of the world that it is a blessed place for tourism.”
The winner of Femina Miss India World 2022, Sini Shetty, who will represent India in Miss World 2023, said that India is a living monument and everybody is excited to welcome contestants here to experience the country's diversity.
