I am Prashant Raghunath Pimple, born in the city of dreams ‘Bombay’, in a family of bankers and accountants. This city ‘a majestic mayhem’, is where I travelled the journey from my formative years of schooling to the completion of my post-graduation.

Post my schooling I had a memorable five years in Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics where I completed my graduation and further had an opportunity to learn from Industry veterans during my post-graduation with Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS).
I was always interested in Treasury Management since my college days which prompted me to pursue Chartered Treasury Management, a course from Associated Chartered Treasury Management Institute (ACTM, USA). I have been fortunate enough to work in the field of my choice and that’s how I laid the foundation of an exciting career in finance.

My career started amidst the Southeast Asian crisis in 1999 with campus recruitment in SIDBI in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. I was recruited in the project finance division. But my love for my city (Mumbai) and inclination towards a Treasury oriented career brought me back to my home ground where I handled debt management treasury
