Sony Spiderman Universe (SSU) series movie "Kraven the Hunter". What was supposed to have been released worldwide on August 30, 2024 is now expected to hit theatres worldwide on December 13, 2024, almost a four month delay, as per a report on Screenrant. This comes even as Sony announced a delay in the release of The Karate Kid due to Cobra Kai Season 6 delays in shooting and other post production issues.

In the SSU series, Venom: The Last Dance will release earlier than Kraven the Hunter on October 25.
This series will explore the Spiderman villain’s ability to communicate with animals and how he uses these skills to hunt down his father who is a well known criminal who had left him for dead after a hunt. Will he hunt down his father? What will be the ending of the movie? All these answers are expected to be answered on December 13. This is almost like a year end gift offered by Sony to its fans.
The movie will have Aaron Taylor Johnson in the lead role and will also see Russell Crowe, Ariana Debose, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola and Levi Miller in different roles.
According to cinema observers, generally a delay in the release of any film is associated with a negative connotation. However, in the case of Kraven the Hunter, it is being seen as beneficial.
