Kristin Chenoweth got married to her longtime beau Josh Bryant over the Labor Day weekend in the US. The wedding comes as a surprise to many, as Kristin was a «self-proclaimed bachelorette». The wedding was pink-themed and held in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
Kristin wore a beautiful nude and pink gown by Pamella Rowland, which had pearl flowers embroidered on it and a bow at the back. The acclaimed performed “didn't want to wear white" at her wedding. «Simple and elegant. I never thought I'd get married, so I went very non-traditional with the gown. I love it,» said Kristin.
Kristin Chenoweth's husband Josh Bryant is a musician from Arkansas. He's also a part of the country rock band Backroad Anthem, and has songs such as Small Town Fame, Feel This Night, Fishin' For a Country Girl, and Curfew to his credit.
Kristin and Josh met when Backroad Anthem performed at Kristin's niece's wedding in 2016. The band again performed at her nephew's wedding. Soon, Josh and Kristin became friends, and began dating in 2018. The couple got engaged in 2021.
“And that's when he (Josh) came on strong," Kristin told People magazine, adding: «Josh asked me where I was going to be playing next, and it was North Carolina. I said, 'I'm busy. I don't have time, da, da, da.' And he shows up to the concert and that was it for me.»
«I was never going to get married,” revealed Kristin. “I even got engaged before and couldn't do it. Until I met Josh. Then I was like, 'Why would I ever let this guy go?' I'm so blessed.»
Kristen is 55 and Josh is 41, and the 14-year age gap did bother her initially.
