Frances Cobain, the 31-year-old daughter of late rock icon Kurt Cobain and singer Courtney Love, reportedly tied the knot with Riley Hawk, the son of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.
The wedding took place in Los Angeles on October 7, as reported by TMZ.
According to the same source, the couple had obtained a marriage license in San Diego in the month leading up to their nuptials.
An interesting note is that Frances' godfather, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, was said to have officiated the ceremony.
However, no comments from the newlyweds' parents have been made available as of now.
Frances Cobain and Riley Hawk are believed to have been in a relationship since early 2021, although Frances officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram in February 2022. After a year-long hiatus from the social media platform, she posted a public display of affection (PDA) picture with the professional skateboarder as part of a slideshow.
In her post, she expressed the joy that their relationship had brought her and her newfound focus on living in the present moment.
Frances Cobain was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva from 2014 to 2017. Their separation led to a protracted legal battle over one of her father's guitars, which Silva eventually won and sold at auction for $6.01 million.
