Liam Payne might have used a very potent drug called 'cristal', which is known to cause psychotic attacks and hallucination that make any user start acting crazily. It was said that the items in his hotel room were broken, with drug paraphernalia scatter everywhere, which was discovered by the police officers conducting an investigation of the death case, as per a report.
Possible Hallucinations Cause Tragic Outcome
There are also speculations that maybe the unpredictable state of Liam was due to the extreme highs and lows of the drug. He reportedly jumped from the third-floor balcony of his suite in CasaSur Palermo Hotel, according to police who say it could have been due to hallucinations. They are still waiting for the lab results to confirm the said presence, TMZ reported.

Repeated History of Thinking about Suicide
As it has been reported earlier, Liam also shared experiences regarding suicidal thoughts with which he struggled back when he was part of the boyband One Direction, while he is said to have been on drugs. The fact that he was said to be sober in recent years makes it even possible that he might have fallen back into that trap.

The police are still investigating; the authorities have announced the possible cause of his death as «cristal,» but no final conclusion is drawn yet, and further information is expected when the toxicology report arrives.
