The second edition of ‘Lollapalooza India’ will be taking place in Mumbai on January 27 and 28 2024.
Just like the first edition, ‘Lollapalooza India 2024’ will be held at the iconic Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai.
This will be a two-day affair.
In a press release, BookMyShow, the ticket booking portal organising the musical extravaganza revealed the line-up expected to regale music lovers and it’s nothing short of fantastic!
British rocker Sting and 2000s American pop sensation Jonas Brothers will headline the event.
The phenomenal line-up also includes other musical big shots such as US pop icon Halsey, dynamic live performers, and anthem belters OneRepublic (who have birth to modern-day classics such as ‘Too Late To Apologize’, ‘Everybody Loves Me’ etc), piano rockers of alternative rock Keane, bold and fearless pop phenomenon and singer-songwriter Lauv, modern dance music duo Jungle, inimitable sound rockers Royal Blood, radical and unorthodox hip-hop rapper JPEGMAFIA, Italian electronic dance music artist Meduza, French house DJ Malaa, eclectic, psychedelic and pop music blending Caribou, etc.
K-pop enthusiasts can jive to classics such as ‘Sorry’ performed by K-rock band The Rose.
Indian classical music fans will be treated to a live performance by sitarist Anoushka Shankar. Other members of this starry line-up include R&B singer Eric Nam, African music icon Fatoumata Diawara, global festival favourite hip-hop record producer and DJ Kenny Beats, India’s most sought-after contemporary Indian folk band The Raghu Dixit Project, homegrown favourites multilingual indie-folk alternative band When Chai Met Toast and Israeli alternative indie electronic pop sound masters Garden City Movement.
