Lupin shares gain 0.87% as Sensex falls
Lupin Ltd. traded 0.87 per cent higher in Thursday's session at 10:50AM (IST). The stock opened at Rs 1250.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1266.95 and Rs 1250.0, respectively, during the session so far.
The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1266.95 and a 52-week low of 628.1. About 24,280 shares changed hands on the counter so far.
Benchmark Nifty50 was down 4.15 points at 20092.45, while the BSE Sensex traded 80.34 points lower at 66821.57 at the time of writing of this report.
In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks traded the day in the green, while 19 were in the red.
Key Financials For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5078.96 crore, up 5.0 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 4836.89 crore and up 22.08 per cent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported net profit of Rs 489.47 crore for the latest quarter.
Promoter Holdings Promoters held 47.06 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2023, while FIIs held 14.99 per cent and MFs 16.71 per cent.
Technicals On the technical charts, the 200-Day Moving Average (DMA) of the stock stood at Rs 921.94 on November 30, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 1173.22. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward.
