Siemens shares gain 0.1% as Sensex rises
Siemens Ltd. traded 0.1 per cent up at Rs 3838.05 at 10:56AM (IST) on Friday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 279.37 points to 69801.06.
The scrip had closed at Rs 3834.15 in the previous session.
The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 4066.1 and 52-week low of Rs 2775.3, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:56AM (IST) stood at 3830 shares with a turnover of Rs 1.47 crore.
At the current price, shares of the company traded at 69.86 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 55.06 per share and 9.99 times its price-to-book value, exchange data showed.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future.
