Macy's 'Bold New Chapter' broadly focuses on shutting down nearly 150 under-performing stores over a three-year period and investing on 350 «go-forward» locations through FY 2026. It says the strategy is aimed at a turnaround, returning the company to sustainable and profitable sales growth.

Macy's fall from grace
The journey of Macy's, from being an American retail giant to a brand with a lackluster performance, has been marked with slumping sales in recent years.
