earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Assam and Meghalaya on Monday.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred at around 6:15 pm on October 2 and epicenter was North Garo Hills in Meghalaya.
The five affected countries are — Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan, and China.
There was no immediate report of any loss of life or property due to the quake.
