During his time at the crease, Kohli engaged in a lighthearted exchange with veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who was brought into the bowling attack by captain Najmul Hossain Shanto shortly after Kohli arrived. Shakib’s unexpected strategy of bowling a series of yorkers caught everyone off guard, including Kohli himself. The two former captains shared a laugh, with Kohli playfully comparing Shakib's bowling style to that of Lasith Malinga.
