The story follows John Creasy, a former French Foreign Legion soldier. Creasy has been portrayed in previous adaptations, notably by Denzel Washington in a 2004 film and Scott Glenn in a 1987 film.
Plot The series' logline describes Creasy, played by Abdul-Mateen, as a former Special Forces Mercenary with intense PTSD. Creasy seeks redemption and fights his personal demons. Before he can settle into a new life, he is thrust back into dangerous situations, fighting harder than ever.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is known for his role as Doctor Manhattan in HBO’s “The Watchmen” and Black Manta in “Aquaman” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” (2023). His other notable works include “The Trial of the Chicago 7,” “The Get Down,” “Black Mirror,” “Candyman” (2021), “The Matrix Resurrections” (2021), and “Ambulance” (2022). He will also star as the title character in Marvel’s “Wonder Man” on Disney+.
