Ariana Grande is coming to Weverse, a superfan platform, owned by HYBE, a popular entertainment brand, that manages K-Pop band BTS. Weverse is all about fans and artist interaction in an all new avatar, not typically seen on other social media platforms like X or Facebook.
Artists on Weverse can create new posts, livestream and even sell select products and merchandise. Ariana Grande is just the star as more and more top-notch stars are joining this platform to connect with their fans and engage with them online. Whether they can do giveaways online on the platform is still not known. BTS star Jin, who is the oldest in the BTS gang, completed his military duty recently and logged onto the platform to have a word with BTS fans. However, the live stream crashed after garnering 2 million views in 10 minutes.
Grande is set to join Weverse, after inking a deal with HYBE America. According to reports, the application has a major share of almost 10 million active users on the platform, as per the third quarter data of 2023. Moreover, there is a major flocking of international users on the platform, as nine out of ten users, have turned out to be from other nations, according to HYBE.
