
Manipur: Three persons arrested for impersonating Jay Shah sent to police custody
Manipur while impersonating Jay Shah, the son of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, were sent to six days of police custody by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Imphal West on March 12.
Ashem Tarunakumari Devi, CJM Imphal West, stated that one pen drive containing videos of the search, seizure, and arrest was presented. This Court is of the opinion that there is prima facie material to remand the accused persons for investigation, as it has been revealed that the mobile number which contacted the complainant's cousin brother belongs to accused Uvaish Ahmed.
In the interest of a proper and effective investigation, this Court is inclined to allow the prayer for remanding them into police custody.
Hence, the accused are remanded into police custody for a period of six days, until 17/3/2025, and they are to be produced before the court by 11:00 am.

The caller persuaded him for induction as Chief Minister of Manipur in the likely to be formed council of ministers of the State very soon. Hence, a regular case under FIR has been registered for
