Mankind Pharma has approved raising Rs 10,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and commercial papers on a private placement basis.
The board has also constituted and authorized the fund raising committee to take all necessary actions, including finalisation of the terms of issuance, allotment of NCDs and CPs and other related matters.

Mankind Pharma is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India, known for providing medications at affordable prices. Recently, the company made headlines for acquiring BSV from private equity firm Advent International, marking it their largest acquisition since being listed.
For the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25, the company reported a net profit of Rs 543 crore, up by 10% from Rs 494 crore posted in the last-year period.
