Wuthering Heights" will be made into a film featuring Barbie-star Margot Robbie and Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi, as per reports. The movie will be directed by Emerald Fennell.

MRC has also made LuckyChap as one of the producers of the film Wuthering Heights. So the Oscar nominated actress Margot Robbie's production house LuckyChap and filmmaker Emerald Fennell will be collaborating for the third time. MRC will also produce the film beside serving as a studio for the project. Previously LuckyChap has produced her films like Saltburn and Promising Young Woman for which Fennell won an Oscar for an original screenplay.
Margot Robbie will play the character the of Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi will portray the character of Heathcliff. Actress and filmmaker Emerald Fennell will serve the role of writer and director as well as producer. The film is currently in the pre production stage and it will start its shooting on UK in 2025. Emily Brontë’s novel, Wuthering Heights is considered as the great work of literature. It was published in 1850. It reflects the passionate and destructive love and it contain themes based revenge, social class, and the supernatural. The narrative follows the unstable relationship between Heathcliff who is the foster son of Lintons and the two families the Earnshaws and the Lintons.
