Better Man’s story will be told in accordance with a unique perspective from Robbie Williams and the biopic would showcase the signature wit and never ending spirit of Robbie Williams, read a synopsis noted by People. Furthermore, the synopsis also adds that Better Man will take viewers through a long journey starting from Robbie Williams’s childhood up to becoming the youngest member of chart topping boyband, Take That.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, director Michael Gracey revealed that it was his decision to visualize Robbie Williams as a singing monkey following the biopic’s premiere at the Telluride Film Festival. According to People, director Michael Gracey also noted that the character of Robbie Williams is just like a lovely little monkey who always used to put up a show in front of other kids from Stoke as well as in front of his parents.
Better Man will be director Michael Gracey’s work since a long break from his last works which was the Pink documentary, Pink: All I Know So Far back in the year 2021 and The Greatest Showman in the year 2017. Better Man is going to get released in selected theatres on December 25 and the nationwide release is scheduled on January 17.
