Massive online search spike for a single word linked to Donald Trump has data experts scrambling for answers; here's what it is
web searches with queries for «Trump» and the word "chaos" rose in the past few weeks just as US president Donald Trump's second term started, as per a report.
Record High Searches
CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten found that google searches of these two words are up 320% compared to the same period in Trump’s first term, HuffPost reported.
Enten observed that this 46-day period has seen the most searches uniting Trump and chaos on record, according to HuffPost. This indicates that the perception of Trump by the public has changed, and the data analyst compared this with the 'Professor Chaos' character from the adult-animated TV show 'South Park'. Enten explained that the public now appears to be connecting Trump with chaos, as per the report.
He said, “The American people are seeing this. They think that Donald Trump is like Butters in ‘South Park.’ He is Professor Chaos,” as quoted by HuffPost.

According to Enten, the increase in searches may be a sign of increased worry among people about what is going on. He claimed that “The American people at this particular point are going, ‘What is happening here?’ They are seeing Trump and they are associating him with the word chaos,” as quoted by HuffPost.

We’ve already started this transition, and we plan to do more of it this fiscal.”Beyond mobile phones and laptops, EMS firms are expanding into smart metres for electricity boards, aerospace and defence subsystems, railway safety instrumentation, printed circuit boards and display assemblies, and medical devices deployed in hospitals.India’s annual mobile phone shipments have remained subdued since the covid-19 pandemic, with industry estimates pointing to a single-digit decline this calendar year from 152 million smartphones shipped last year.The margin pressure driving this shift is increasingly visible.In FY26, Syrma SGS reported an operating margin of 7.1%, up 2.3 percentage points.
