Paramount+ confirmed the return of Mayor of Kingstown with Season 4. Speculation about the renewal grew after a writers' room for the new season was established in October. The series has been popular for its intense storytelling and ensemble cast.

Season 3 Recap
The storyline in Season 3 involved significant challenges for the main character, Mike McLusky, played by Jeremy Renner. Mike’s efforts to maintain peace were tested by a past acquaintance, threatening his work to balance rival factions.
