"For 11 years, I also worked as a professor at Punjabi University, Patiala, but even because of all these years of hard work, the government did not approve me," he told News 18. “I still want to work as a professor, but the circumstances are not allowing," he added.
He completed his PhD in law and has four Master's degrees in subjects including Punjabi, journalism and political science. He is still pursuing studies and selling vegetables to make a living.
