“Numerous representations are being received from industry associations on the draft Digital Competition Bill, raising serious concerns regarding the impact of the proposed bill on data and digital markets,” said an email sent by the ministry of electronics and information technology to industry representatives and associations. The ministry has also requested representatives of the ministry of corporate affairs and the Competition Commission of India to be present at the meeting to hear the concerns of the industry, sources said.
