Metropolis Healthcare on Tuesday reported a 8% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit to Rs 36.1 crore in Q4FY24 lead by volume increase and better patient realisations.
The diagnostic chain reported Rs 33.5 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Revenue from operations grew by 11% YoY to Rs 313 crore.
The earnings for interest, tax, depreciation and ammortisation (EBITDA) before CSR and ESOP rose 14% YoY to Rs 82.4 crore in Q4. The EBITDA margin in Q4FY24 was 25.5% and for the full year FY24 the EBITDA margin was 23.9%.
The company said core business growth stood at 15% Y-o-Y with 15% patient volume growth. The wellness segment and specialty segment revenue grew by 22% and 17%.
«Despite significant network expansion over the last two years, we achieved EBITDA margins of 25.5% in Q4 FY24,» Ameera Shah, promoter and managing director, Metropolis Healthcare said.
«Looking ahead, we expect additional revenue from both existing and new networks, coupled with improved operational efficiency, to sustain our current margin levels in FY25 and further enhance our margin profile beyond FY25,» Shah added.
Metropolitan has a network of 199 labs, 4150 collection centres and over 10,000 touch points.
