Q) Thanks for being part of the segment. You have been in equity markets for decades, tell us how do you keep yourself calm?
Thank you for having me.
Maintaining a calm demeanor in the equity markets is crucial for making sound decisions. To achieve this, I focus on three dimensions of fitness: physical, emotional, and conscious fitness.
My approach has always been 'conscious fitness' — as it helps me listen to my body, understand my limitations and engage in activities that promote overall wellness and sustainable habits for long term success.
For physical fitness, I engage in activities like walking, swimming, and yoga. These exercises help me stay physically active and reduce stress.
However, what truly brings me a sense of calm and centeredness is guided meditation.
It is an essential part of my routine and allows me to quiet my mind and find inner peace. Also, trust, transparency and values are at the helm of everything we do. It contributes to a healthy work environment and definitely has a positive impact on my sleep patterns.
Q) Yoga and guided meditation, that's interesting. Tell us a little more about the routine – how much time do you give to the routine in a day and the frequency throughout the week?
