- He urged Members of Parliament to reaffirm the commitment to make India a developed nation by 2047 and described the move to the new Parliament building as a new beginning towards a new future.
- PM Modi also suggested that the old building of the Parliament be known as 'Samvidhan Sadan.'
- He said India emerged as the voice of global south in the G20 summit.
