MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is betting on the 'Ladli Behna Scheme' for women above 21 years for another election victory.
He has already announced to increase the monthly allowance amount under the scheme from Rs 1000 to Rs 1250. On Saturday, he announced that unmarried women of 21 years age will also get the benefits of the scheme.
There are discussions that Chouhan may increase the amount further and make it Rs 1500, as has been promised by the Congress in coming days.
