Mumbai experienced a dust storm and rain showers on Monday evening. Following the initial dust storm, rain was reported in Thane and Navi Mumbai. A dust storm occurred near Mantralay.

Owing to poor visibilty, a few arrival flights into Mumbai had been diverted. Aviation weather report issued earlier showed a 55 kmph wind from east/north east direction, with gusts going up to 75 kmph. Passengers booked on evening/night departures out of Mumbai can expect major delays.

- Vistara: Flight UK620 Dehradun to Mumbai (DED-BOM) has been diverted to Ahmedabad (AMD) due to bad weather at Mumbai airport and is expected to arrive in Ahmedabad (AMD) at 4:55 pm.
- Vistara: Flight UK562 from Jaipur to Mumbai (JAI-BOM) has been diverted to Goa (GOX) due to bad weather at Mumbai airport and is expected to arrive in Goa at 5:20 pm.
- Vistara: Flight UK272 from Male to Mumbai (MLE-BOM) has been diverted to Goa (GOX) due to bad weather at Mumbai airport and is expected to arrive in Goa at 5:20 pm.
