₹5,472 crore inflows month-on-month (MoM) in June 2023, according to the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). The equity mutual funds have witnessed a net inflow of ₹8,245 crore in June 2023 as against ₹2,906 crore in May 2023. AMFI informed us about the record data high in a call today.
The inflows into equity funds have come on the back of the Indian market making a strong recovery. The total assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹44.39 lakh crore versus ₹3.20 lakh crore MoM. The investments via systematic investment plans (SIPs) inched lower to ₹14,734 crore in June.
Large-cap funds, however, witnessed an outflow of ₹2,050 crore.
