Unusual reports have surfaced from the heart of Germany's Harz mountains, as hikers claim to have encountered a perplexing figure known as the 'Wolf Man' within the region's forests. German newspaper Bild reveals that two hikers managed to capture the enigmatic individual on camera.
The photographs portray a man who appears unclothed, covered in dirt or remarkably hairy, seated on the ground, and engrossed in playing with sand. This mysterious sighting took place at the base of a ruined castle in Blankenburg, situated within Saxony-Anhalt.
Gina Weiss, 31, and her companion Tobi, 38, were taking an evening stroll through Blankenburg when they stumbled upon the 'Wolf Man.' Weiss recounted their experience, sharing, «When we reached the sand caves, we saw the wolf man.
He stood up high on one of the caves and held a long wooden stick like a lance in his arm.» Describing the individual's appearance as reminiscent of a figure from the Stone Age, Weiss noted that during their ten-minute encounter, the 'Wolf Man' remained silent, his gaze fixed on the hikers.
This is not the first recorded instance of an encounter with the 'Wolf Man' in the Blankenburg vicinity. Authorities have revealed that over the past five years, several reports have been filed detailing sightings of an individual adorned in what appears to be wolf attire or fur within the forested area.
These unconventional sightings prompted calls for assistance.
