NBA fans are waiting for another extavanga of the NBA in the Middle East. Last year, the event was attended by some of the legends of the game, including Vince Carter, Dominique Wilkins and Shaquille O’Neal among others.
Last year, the Atlanta Hawks locked horns with the Milwaukee Bucks in Abu Dhabi’s first ever pre-season NBA clash. Considering the huge success of last year's event, fans are expecting to see some of the top players in action yet again in the capital. Dates and teams: The NBA event will take place at Etihad Arena, and in the opening game, the Dallas Mavericks will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 5 and 7, 2023.
There hasn't been any confirmation yet on when the tickets will go on sale. Once the tickets are available, fans can buy them online, and there will be special ticket packages for the fans, including VIP experiences and premium access.
To bring the best of the NBA experience to the fans and popularize the sport across the Middle East, Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company (ADQ) has already launched a multi-year partnership. Besides the games, many other initiatives have been planned around the games, including NBA Fit clinics, the Junior Abu Dhabi League, and NBA Cares events, among others.
