NBA in-Season Tournament has moved into the knock stage as a total of eight teams have entered the quarter-finals of the inaugural season. From the Western Conference, four teams are Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, and New Orleans Pelicans. From the Eastern conference top four teams are Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Eight teams consist of the top-performing team from each of the six groups in Group Play and two additional «wild card» teams.
The Knockout Rounds will feature single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Championship, where the qualifying teams will vie for both a prize pool and the coveted NBA Cup, the new In-Season Tournament trophy.
Quarterfinals will be played on December 4 and 5. Semifinals games will be played on December 7 and Championship final will be played on December 9.
The inaugural In-Season Tournament, which commenced on Friday, November 3, is set to reach its pinnacle with the Championship on Saturday, December 9. All 30 teams have been randomly grouped into sets of five within their respective conferences, determined by their won-loss records from the 2022-23 regular season.
The semifinals and finals of the tournament are scheduled to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. TNT will broadcast all In-Season Tournament quarterfinal games, while the semifinals will be aired on either ESPN or TNT. The grand finale of the In-Season Tournament will be showcased on ABC.
