NDA meeting on July 18, which will be attended by several of its new allies — the Ajit Pawar faction of NCP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Jiten Ram Manjhi-led Hindustan Awam Morcha. The meeting incidentally is being held on the day when opposition parties are also holding their second joint meeting in Bengaluru.
Speculations are rife that SAD and TDP may again join the NDA, but sources said they are unlikely to attend the July 18 meet. A meeting of the NDA parties is being held after almost more than four years.
LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan is also likely to attend the meet. Last Sunday, he had a long meeting with Union minister of state for home affairs Nityanand Rai.
Meanwhile, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president Om Prakash Rajbhar said he has no information about the meeting. Rajbhar is not in NDA at present, but he has been meeting BJP leaders from the state for the past few months.
