The streaming giant will broadcast two National Football League games next season for the first time, as well as a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul in November.
It will also start streaming professional wrestling — WWE Raw — from next year.
Apart from these, US competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut will face off against a fierce rival Takeru Kobayashi in a hot dog eating contest, in the latest event to be aired live on Netflix, the streamer has announced.
NFL Live on Netflix
On December 25, 2024, Netflix will live stream NFL's two Christmas Day marquee games: the Super Bowl LVII-winning Kansas Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans.
Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul Live on Netflix
Netflix will live telecast the boxing fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson on Friday, November 15, 2024, from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
WWE Raw on Netflix
From January 2025, Netflix will start airing WWE Raw. «Netflix will also become the home for all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S. as available, inclusive of Raw and WWE’s other weekly shows – SmackDown and NXT – as well as the company’s Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble,» the company said in a statement.
