Netflix’s crime drama, Bodies, released on August 31, and has got good reactions from viewers who like the genre. Here’s what we think of the trailer of Bodies.
From the trailer of Bodies, it not only seems like a detective drama full of intrigue, but also a psychological thriller with a good amount of mystery added to it.
This one-of-a-kind psychological crime thriller on Netflix is based on the DC graphic novel of the same name by Si Spencer, which was illustrated by Dean Ormston, Phil Winslade, Tula Lotay, Meghan Hetrick and Lee Loughridge.
The official synopsis of Bodies itself will make you curious about the series. The description under the trailer of Bodies reads as: “Four detectives, living in four different eras, find the body of the same murder victim in London’s Whitechapel. They soon come to realise their investigations have them central to a mysterious conspiracy spanning over a 150 years.”
Bodies will be premiering on Netflix on October 19, 2023. It will have eight episodes of one hour each, which will be released simultaneously.
The cast of Bodies includes Kyle Soller, Stephen Graham and Amaka Okafor in the lead, with others being Jacob Fortune-Lloyd and Shira Haas.
Marco Kreuzpainter is the director of Bodies, and Haolu Wang is the episode director for some episodes. Bodies has Paul Tomalin as the showrunner and co-lead writer. He is the creator of Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood, and Channel 4 crime drama No Offence. Another co-lead writer is Danusia Samal, the writer of Hulu’s The Great.
