Newton IM taps Wellington Management for EM and Asia equities chief
Liliana Castillo Dearth (pictured) joined after six years at Wellington Management.
In her new role, she will develop Newton's product offering in this area and work closely with portfolio managers Alex Khosla and Zoe Kan and investment analysts Fei Chen and Aditya Shah. She will report to CIO for equities John Porter.
Castillo Dearth worked as a portfolio manager for Wellington Management for six years, where she developed and managed emerging market equity portfolios.

Prior to that, she spent 18 years at AllianceBernstein, joining as a research analyst and progressing to lead portfolio manager of international and emerging markets portfolios.
