The last recarpeting of the runway was carried out in 2013-14 by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). Gadkari conducted an on-site inspection of the runway earlier on Monday morning.
Mihan India Limited (MIL), in collaboration with AAI, operates the Nagpur airport.
