Delhi Congress brass on Saturday fielded their party colleagues from AAP-ruled Punjab to caution voters of the poll-bound national capital against falling for the promises of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, especially the ₹2,100 monthly stipend proposed for the women.

At a press conference here on Saturday, Punjab PCC president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and CLP leader Partap Singh Bajwa, flanked by Delhi Congress leaders Ajay Maken, Devinder Yadav and others, said the AAP had promised before the 2022 Punjab polls to pay every woman of the state ₹1,000 every month, but the AAP government failed to fulfil that.
Warring said, «Almost three years have passed since the AAP formed government in Punjab, and they are yet to fulfil this promise».
