Noida police issue traffic alert for Ambedkar death anniversary: Here are the roads to avoid and diversions
Traffic diversions will be implemented in Noida on Wednesday due to the Parinirvan Diwas of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Commuters have been urged to follow the diversions and adhere to traffic regulations to avoid any inconvenience, as a large number of visitors are expected at the Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95 along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway on Ambedkar's death anniversary.
If there is heavy traffic at Dalit Prerna Sthal on the route from Greater Noida to Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, traffic will be redirected from the Mahamaya flyover towards Sector 37, informed the police.
According to the advisory, this traffic will reach its destination by passing through Sector 37, Attapir Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, and Sector 15 Golchakkar Chowk.
In case of traffic congestion at Gate No.
4 of Dalit Prerna Sthal on the route from Greater Noida to Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, traffic will be diverted from the Film City Flyover towards Sector 18, stated the police.
This traffic will be able to reach its destination by taking the elevated road from Sector 18 to Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector 15 Golchakkar Chowk, or Sector 18 underpass.
The advisory further mentioned that if there is traffic pressure near DND or Film City flyover on the route from Noida to Greater Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, traffic will be redirected from Sector 14A flyover towards Sector 15 roundabout.
This traffic will reach its destination via Sector 15 Golchakkar Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, Attapir Chowk, and Sector 37, the advisory added.
