Additionally, all eyes are on his Indian-origin wife Usha Chilukuri Vance.
Business tycoon Anand Mahindra recently drew attention to the power couple. Taking to X, the Mahindra Group Chairman shared a picture of their wedding day and wrote, “There’s another Great Indian Wedding to celebrate…” (a subtle reference to the grand wedding of Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant, which took place on Friday).
In the picture, both Vance and Chilukuri are clad in traditional Indian wedding attire. The bride looks radiant in a white and gold wedding saree, while the groom looks dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani. The post has become viral on the microblogging site, gaining more than 273K views and 6.1K likes.
Reacting to the photo, one X user quipped that she too will be seeking a Caucasian man with ambition. “Now my mission is also to get married to a politically ambitious gora as I’d look better with such a man..” read the comment.
Another called out the Indian fascination with America and NRIs. “Why do Indians have this very weird liking thing about Americans or NRIs ?? First, it was with CEOs, then Kamala Harris, and now this man’s wife, like what's there to be proud of ??!.. They are American bro, they chose America over India, to find something new.
