Briarcliff Entertainment has acquired domestic rights to the comedy Not Another Church Movie, slated for a wide release in theaters on May 10. The film features an ensemble cast including Jamie Foxx, Vivica A. Fox, Kevin Daniels, Mickey Rourke, and more, as per a Deadline report.
Kevin Daniels stars as Taylor Pherry, an ambitious young man tasked by God to share his family’s stories and inspire his community. Unbeknownst to him, the Devil, played by Mickey Rourke, has his own agenda. Jamie Foxx portrays God in this hilarious yet thought-provoking film directed by Johnny Mack.

Briarcliff CEO Tom Ortenberg praised the film, predicting that audiences will be “doubled over in their seats” upon its release. Not Another Church Movie follows Briarcliff’s recent releases of Marlowe, Kandahar, and The Hill, with DogMan set to open on March 29.
Briarcliff Entertainment has an exciting lineup, including Den of Thieves 2: Pantera starring Gerard Butler and the crime thriller Sovereign featuring Nick Offerman, Dennis Quaid, and Jacob Tremblay.
